Earthquakes and other disasters can have an adverese effect on any community they strike, and communities not able to assess their systems' resilience to such disasters will be unable to prepare for the impact of the event. Dylan's research has explored ways to assess a waterline system's response in an earthquake, so that communities and municipalities can better prepare their systems to be resilient.
